Yin Yoga
YIN Yoga is a meditative practice, turning inward, opening blockages and releasing stuck energy, part science and part spirit. We will hold poses on the floor or wall for 3-10 minutes each, bringing stillness, strength and hydration to the connective tissues throughout our bodies. This includes deep connective tissues, fascia, ligaments, joints and bones, areas critical to maintaining proper mobility and flexibility as we age. Shavasana with guided meditation and sound completes this class. Combined, these practices improve the health of your brain, immune system, reduce blood pressure and bring awareness, joy and wellbeing to your life.
